National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification® (NCTRC) believes that the fees associated with the certification application process should not be a deterrent to furthering your career.
NCTRC understands that hardships can occur and that you may need financial assistance regarding fees associated with the certification application process or to maintain your CTRS® credential.
The NCTRC Hardship Fee Waiver program is designed to provide a waiver of fees associated with ANY application through NCTRC for those who qualify. You may also apply for a waiver of more than one application fee.
Individuals may apply for a waiver of fees associated with an NCTRC application if they have experienced a hardship that has caused any of the following:
