NCTRC® Funded Research Projects and Published Materials

National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification® (NCTRC) supports research that aims to advance the knowledge and practice of recreational therapy.

The NCTRC Research Grant Program funds three types of research for students, faculty, and practitioners: basic, applied, and program evaluation. Grants are awarded two times per year to the selected applicants.

NCTRC is proud to offer this program which seeks to open new doors for current RT practitioners as well as those pursuing careers in the field.

See the full list of NCTRC funded research projects below.

Once projects have been completed, the investigators have given permission for NCTRC to post links to project articles, posters, and an executive summary/abstract resulting from NCTRC funding. Stay up to date on the latest research funded by NCTRC.
